A design experiment that I worked on between freelance projects, concentrating on the implementation and utilization of a diagonal grid system. Close attention to tones and color also helped to establish a unique and easily recognizable brand identity and digital presence.Branding, Web Design2013 -
The owner of Titanium-Buzz.com contacted me about working with him on a lookbook for a handful of new wedding ring styles, directed towards men, that he had wanted to begin promoting. We discussed broad concepts and branding direction, and I was sent off with creative freedom to produce this 16 page booklet.
If you find yourself in the market for a wedding ring, definitely give them a shot. They were absolutely fantastic to work with and there is no doubt that that same level of professionalism translates into their everyday business operation and customer service.Creative Direction, Graphic Design, Print Design2013 -
Our wedding was fairly laid back and mostly stress free. It's a tone that I tried to set ahead of time through the invitations. Each of the four pieces was a soft touch postcard, sent out together in a custom envelope. The RSVP postcard was mailed out with a stamp already on it for the convenience of those invited.
I wanted to make it engaging both visually and physically, and doing so on a budget brought me to the back prints on each card. The "puzzle", as everyone called it, went over extremely well. A few people even commented on their disappointment in having to break up the set to RSVP.Branding, Graphic Design, Print Design2012 -
Similar to the Subaru site redesign, this project exists because of how bad I feel the official NY&C website is. The NY&C brand tries to strike a balance between modern and timeless, elements that are not being clearly implemented on their existing site. With that in mind, I set out to apply those elements to this project.Web Design2012 -
Smaller than the primary catalog in both dimensions and cost, this 2012 mini-catalog is an excellent example of great bang for your buck.
As a triple fold box stuffer and race day handout measuring just 5.5" x 8.5" when closed and opening up to a poster sized 22" x 17", the mini-catalog saves on display space without sacrificing presentation.Graphic Design, Print Design2012 -
I was genuinely surprised when I discovered how uninspiring the existing Subaru website was, so I redesigned it.
Enthusiasm and belief in their product is just not expressed on their site and I felt that needed to be addressed. My goal was to translate the passion that Subaru has built their brand on into each page of the design.Web Design2012 -
I was initially approached by the owner of La-La's Chocolate Chip Cookies with a problem not unlike what many other companies are dealing with. They had a fantastic (delicious) product, but the packaging was doing more harm than good. As it turns out, paper bags are less than ideal for both product freshness and customer attention.
Project scope included a redesign of the existing La-La's logo, complete packaging design, product photography, copy writing, and marketing consultations.
The result is a brand identity aligned with the quality of product and a packaging experience on par with companies hundreds of times larger.Branding, Packaging2012 -
This is a brand and web site based on the requirements of a design brief submitted to me by a company. The goal was to create both a site name and design that would look and feel at home within the existing family of sites, while just as importantly, speaking to the company's core "busy mom" demographic.

This is one aspect of an overall branding project. Integration of a shopping cart was a major priority, as was forum integration for customer and company communication.

For the 60th Anniversary of Hot Rod Magazine and Bonneville Speedweek I had the opportunity to design a wrap for the world's fastest pick-up truck. Sourced from individuals, museums and magazine archives, the wrap utilized over 150 historical photos of drivers and vehicles from the last 60 years. The completed wrap went on to serve as a photo album for many and a history lesson for others. It was extremely well received and many people, upon finding themselves in the design, took it upon themselves to sign the truck next to photos of themselves or their cars.Automotive Design, Graphic Design2012 -
Project responsibilities included selection, installation and setup of the content management system, all necessary html and css coding and editing, all design work, art direction, product photography and much of the copy writing.Web Design2012
